What a wonderful World

I know it has been long and much has happened since the last blog but some things have just been much to important to take time on the computer. As I am sure you all already know we have been blessed with the arrival of our precious baby boy Korban John Steinberg. I won't go over the details of the labor and delivery since I think you already know but lets just say with the way things panned out we are just happy to have a healthy beautiful baby boy. Our stay at the hospital was plenty long and coming home with a new addition to make us into a real family was something I can't even begin to describe. The feelings and emotions of it all can be so overwhelming. I will say though that a c-section plus a bumpy dirt road equals no fun at all!

So now here we are three weeks and 4 days later and boy is he changing already! Korban is already 9 1/2 lbs. but that was last Monday so I bet he is 10 lbs. by now. He smiles more and more every day when he hears us talking cheerfully to him. He has his dads big adorable smile that stretches a mile wide. There are a lot of things about baby boys that we were not prepared for such as the occasional pee across the room and other wonderful things coming out of either end at 5 am......which I have to say Dad has finally been initiated by both. I just thought Korban was out to get me but it looks like Dad and I are even.

On a more sentimental note (before the little guy wakes up) I had no idea that having a baby could bring two people, who were already in love, so much closer together. Being a Dad looks good on Josh and he has been a super husband to boot! He loves our little boy so much and he is already dreaming of days when we can take him to the zoo, play games, and go see really cool movies. Josh can't wait to show him the movie Walee (might be spelled wrong). When he See's that I am ridiculously tired he insists I take a nap while he hangs out with Korban. I think Josh has found a future video game buddy!

Korbans first few weeks have been very busy as well with visits from family and friends and not to mention baby showers! One from his Auntie Jessica (with her trusty camera always in hand) one from his Great Aunt Melanie and another from our friends and family at church. Who knew that one could be existent on this planet for three weeks and already be so popular....no to mention incredibly loved. I read Jessica's family blogg and all of the funny things my nephews do and the mischief they get into and it just gets me excited about what Korban is going to be like and all of the funny things he will say.....probably stuff Noah and Jack will teach him, I just know they will have a blast. Jessica don't ever move away!

I know my time on here is short until Korban is hungry again so I better sign off and add some pictures before I am beckoned...Love to all of you and thanks for reading!
