Seasons of Life

Lately Josh's mom and I have been planning for our family Easter Sunday. It made me think back to last Easter. I was ever so pregnant and looked like a giant Easter Egg myself! Recently we went to Grandpa Nunnery's for his Birthday and again I was reminded of where I was at in my life last year at that same time....very pregnant. It was a season in my life that I will cherish always, being pregnant, feeling the little life in my belly...every day felt like spring, that is, every day after the nausea past! Josh took a picture of me at the bottom of the steps by the main house on the property. We had just finished picking oranges, (one of my favorite sentimental things to do) and I wanted to remember that day.....

And here we are again but this time with my little one in my arms.....warm fuzzy feelings:)

..

Now we are in a new season of life...the season of mischief and random sillyness. Korban makes me laugh every day at the funny little things he does. Even the things that are funny for a moment but have to be followed by "That's cute but that's not o.k." Such as...

Yes, Korban has developed a flavor pallet for TP.
It has only happened one more time since because silly me did not close the door to the Loo.
He threw his first big tantrum while I scooted his little walker out. Oh I am sure this is one of several to come but I know God will use each situation to teach me and mold me
into a better mom for my little one. Can't you just pinch those cheeks?!

And last but not least, Korban has this silly little dance he does with some coaxing but usually he does it on his own and when you least expect it. Warning! Annoying mom voice in the background! Listener beware!

"I love him! He is so cute! The end."

Okay, we were all laughing out loud at the adorableness that is Korban. What a sweet little boy you have! You will be so glad that you have that on video!

  2. He's so cute! Trevin does that little head-bobbing dance sometimes, too. Isn't it fun when they learn new skills like that?

Enjoy your first Easter with him!
